Gabor Bella Levy was born in Budapest on July 16, 1913. He died in Connecticut in July 1999. Levy worked as an analytical chemist for Schenley Laboratories and later for the Photovolt Corporation, where he eventually became a vice-president and Technical Director. Upon retirement he commenced a second career as an editor at International Scientific Communications.
